theres a gazillion factors to consider when choosing... from cost, to reliability (front axles and cvs), to the terrain you drive and what percentage is on-road (cheap way out is to auto-lock the rear and air lock the front).
ideally you'd airlock front and rear and then you can pick and choose whenever you want!
IMO there's no point locking the front unless you put CRMO CVs and axles in though.
Then save up your pennies and pick one of the following: 1. move your rear air locker (26 spline outers) to the front, fit double toughs, put a mini spool in the back 2. buy another air locker for the front, but get it fitted with 26 spline outers and fit double toughs.
Note: probably a smart plan to pick your dream tyre first so that you can work out if you are going to swap ring and pinion ratios at the same time as fitting the lockers (saves money in the long run).
