speedo drive is stuck in ,,rusty
tried soaking it in wd40 and still wont budge. case is striped down but cant get main drive gears out
to replace bearings.. speedo drive runs of that shaft so i guess thats what is stoping the
main shaft from sliding out..
any ideas how to get it out???

I usually lock a pair of Vise grips onto the top edge and stick a screwdriver between the jaws to wiggle the drive.
Once it wiggles it will pop out pretty easily.

Try turn the drive holder thingo then it should come right out or if it's striped down can you get a center punch on it and give few light taps??
