More realistically 33-34" tyres like I run without problem on stock rear axles. With a coily you won't last one trip running those size tyres.

why?

Seconded.

How is it that SJ80 rear axles are weaker than your standard rear axles?

Every time I click on this thread I can feel my IQ dropping. Image

I never said SJ80 rear axles were the weak point, it's the CV's which you can't get chromo's for. I mentioned my stock rear axles as limited to about 34" tyres which I run now without breakages. Any larger people generally go bigger diffs or full floaters in the case of the Vic guys.

And Jonno's 31's are not 34's.

Every time I come in this thread I'm convinced the coily fans have a defensive chip on their shoulder. It's ok we now you like coily's, we get it. I don't hate them, I am just aware of their weaknesses and prefer not to deal with them.

To be honest, it sounds like you should buy a hilux with 32s and a bit of lift... That would suit you to a tee ;)

And 36s on zook diffs? I'll shelf a 15x7 before giving that advice.

Fuck you're an idiot.

You just proved my point about the chip on the shoulder, where did I have a go at you? Nowhere, but you still felt the need to have a go at me.

You can take your keyboard warrior act and shove it up your arse, if you acted like that to people in person you would have had both your heads smacked in a long time ago.

also anything I say on a forum I would say in real life.

the only reason I bother to post in here is for the op. other than the fact he is going to think all zook owners are children, he would also get a huge steaming pile of shit info from you.

If rolling it is a real prospect with your driving, maybe consider keeping the HiLux and buying a trailer to put a Suzuki on as well. It's something I have been resisting for years is buying a tow vehicle and trailer for either of my Suzuki's; but the logic of it has finally won over me... :| The other benefit of this is you won't have to hold back as much on trying to keep your Suzuki so "legal" if highly modified is your cup of tea...

And on another note.... seriously some of you lot, learn how to have a spirited debate without degenerating into name calling and assorted insults... its pathetic... People ALWAYS have different opinions, but stop assuming because someone disagrees with you, they are the sworn enemy, and must be hounded into the ground......

How did I get dragged into this?

I don't have a coily, nor have I ever tried to modify one.

My only complaint about them is that the windscreen surround on the coily soft top is not replacable if you trash it.

And it's quite obvious that you're bias towards me just because we don't agree on things, and possibly because I don't treat you like a hero for running in internet forum.

You're both a bunch of hero's from behind your keyboards.
