Ok I own a 98 Jimny and wish to fit an XROX bar to it, the manufacturer says will fit 05+ but not sure about 98? Are they the same mounting point wise?

It will fit. You just need to knock off some little tabs on the front of the chassis rails from memory.

Ok thanks as they told me of I modify the bar will void warranty on it etc which I think is crap when paying over 1k for a bit of steel

I do like It! What I don't like is the final finish on the bar, the hoop, and the over all construction of the bar mounts. With a bit of chopping and welding the bar is much bettera

Other thing's i did were make the chassis mount's a better 'fit' so there was less movement on them, chopped 20mm of the ends of the wing's on the lower and upper toobe's( stop tyres rubbing), then welded steel caps on the end tooobes because the bar normally comes with little push in caps that always come out and then you end up with mud&shit in the toobes. I also cleaned up some of other welds and cut of the tabs for the spotties that go in the wing's :peaceout:
