So the brakes on my coily have failed, half way up a big rocky hill, that was fun :shocked:

I think i saw on here somewhere that the coily brakes are the same as i vitara, im just after some clarification as i need new calipers.

Also will a wiper stalk off an older sierra fit my coily, mine snapped.

For fucks sake I know people like to joke about coilies but that is taking it a bit far. He just wants help to fix his car, if you can't help why not just keep your fucking trap shut! :evil:

You are going to need to define failed a bit better, why do you need calipers? pretty hard to kill one

I just searched a bit and found coily brake pads are PN#DB403 and Vit are PN#DB1134

Coily calipers aren't the same as Vit.

Well it seem that something metal like had fallen into the brakes and chewed out the piston, there was metal shavings everywhere, the metal had burnt through the brake pads.
