Less weight? Dunno, you just dont need 8" rims with 10.5 tyres.

The more -ve offset you have, the further your wheels stick out.

The more +ve offset you have, the further your wheels stick in.

Hi all!

I have a 91 Sierra with 31x10.5's on Speedy 15x8 -24 rims. There is miles of spring clearance at full lock. Here are some pics:

Some say that Zooks handle better with a skinny tire - but I am personally very happy with my 15x8's in all conditions!

Cheers,

Pez

15x8 -24 offset with 31's. Main differance that I know of with 15x7 and 15x8 wheels is the offset, and if I ever want to put larger tyres on my car again, I can with the 15x8's. If you choose 15x8's you'll need to cover them (I used garden edging). If I had my choice again though, I would have gone 15x7's
