i acquired some 60mm solid aluminium bar and made some blocka up but i only made 8 as this is all i can see but when i look at kits for sale online they have 10 blocks. is this corrrect or will 8 be ok?

For a SWB sierra? 10 blocks. And the 60mm diameter blocks won't fit at the back.
And what have you done about the captive studs in the floor? The bolts aren't removable.

i pulled the blocks down to 52mm. was un aware of the captive studs thanks for the heads up what would you recommend?

I would recommend selling your blocks to someone with a Hilux and buying a kit off here.
The studs are a pain unless you have female bolts, Which have to be high tensile if you want anything to be legit.
Alot of work to cut out the studs and replace with bolts for a simple bodylift.
