Transfer case lift solved this problem for me. Actually whoever owned my truck before me may have solved it by inverting the boot. (It had a body lift already and the boot was inverted, clearly to get more movement from the rubber and less leverage from the rubber on the stick)

I have a straight swaybar if you need one freee

Bonnet will not fit a suncobird but will fit a sunbird
