hey guys,

had to jumpstart my car last night and i drove off pretty much straight after it was running, going down my street i turned my high beam on and then my whole engine died. what would cause this to happen? is it because the battery had not much power or somehting? ive never had a problem like this before.
i had only left my car for a week and the battery went flat, not sure if that has something to do with it.

Flat battery

Possibly alternator not charging.

Check your alternator charge rate, with and without lights on.
