Hi guys,

I have a vibration in second gear on my jimny since I picked it up. Its always there directly after changing from 1st. The severity of it depends on speed at change and engine laboring.

Any ides on whats causing it? My first thought is a bearing?

I would suggest bearing too but where. Does it vibrate in any other gear or only 2nd? Does it vibrate the whole car?

Yeah only in second. Can vibrate the whole car if your easing on the throttle. Not so bad if your driving it like you stole it.

yeah i get a similar sort of thing sometimes when the revs are low, sorta like if your driving a diesel and you take off in too high a gear.
I didnt pay it much mind. although it seems to be a tad more noticeable with the new WT box in there. hopefully the rebuild fixes that.
