Can I run this air flow meter inline for a 1.6 conversion in to a wt sierra? Its from a 96 lwb vitara, I would use the air box but I only have the top. cheers

What mine has,I didn't do the conversion but mine has that AFM.

Is it just between two bits of rubber intake hose and then to the Sierra air box?

Well I am running a 2.8 rodeo airbox so ca.n't comment if it will connect with a sierra airbox. Mine goes airbox, rubber, afm,rubber, tps then intake. Hope this helps
