hey guys well i got my NT Suzuki abit wet long story short after spraying some wd40 i had the car running but then it stalled seems im getting no spark from the ignition Coil
now i had a look and its quite different to a WT coil dont know if its just this car or its all NTs but it seems to have a Resistor that was smoking

basically what i need is photos of a NT ignition coil and or better yet wiring diagram
Because i cant remember what goes where :oops: any help would be great thanks

Resistor smoking?

Sounds like 1.0 electrics not 1.3

Wants 33s i saw u saying something about a
Ballast Resistor i think thats what was smoking it was mounted on the coil braket with a few leads going to it ..

You should be able to buy a new ballast at any decent autoparts shop.
Lots of older cars have them especially jap stuff so if there are old hiluxes/datsuns etc around your area check them out.

Alternatively:
Throw away the ballast and fit a 1.3 electronic dissy and coil.

i have a 1.3 electronic dissy does it bolt right up ?

1.3 dissy bolts straight into a 1.0 or 1.3 engine.
1.3 dissy needs full 12V so remove the ballast as it reduces power to points down to about 7.5V.

ok well still scratching my head over this one ... this is what iv got to

Black and white stripe goes to ballast then to + on coil
blue wire from back of dizzy goes to - on coil has some sort of reg on it ;S
yellow and white stripe i think goes to positive on coil .. seems to be ignition ...
then i have red with white stripe ?

and someone also had another earth going out of back of dizzy to fire wall

Help please haha photos of NT coil with wires could help me alot please

It's not NT you want, it's 1.0lt.
1.3lt NT will be different to what you have.
