Just after advice on a new optima for the Vitara. I have searched high and low, just found everyone talking bout how good they are and that some of the sierra guys are runing the D34.

Im after an Optima that will drop straight in the battery tray with minor mods. Will the Yellow top D34 suit?

Any hands on or general advice muchly appreciated!

My 'standard' NS40ZLXS in 197 x 129 x 201 with SP (17-ish mm) terminals.

D34 is 254mm x 174.6mm x 198.4mm - so won't quite drop in but shouldn't be too much work.

Check out my build thread. I have the biggest optima that will fit in the tray and height limitations.

Thanks Poita. So you rekon the d34 is going to require a bit of surgery to get to fit?

I'm gonna have to pull mine out and have a good measure.
