hey iv gone out and bought a suzuki baleno with a g16b (efi 1.6) low ks and im going to take the engine out of it and put it in my jimny as i dont think my g13bb will power my 31" tsl super swampers i bought. another reason i got it was i had a vitara with the g16a (carby) in it and it went nuts with a set of 30" federal couragia mt's just wondering weather its worth the effort

Get the gearing right for the tyre size and the 1.3 is fine. Sure, a G16 is nice, but you'll need to regear the car for the tyres anyway, so I'd get the gearing right first and then if you're not happy then go to the G16.

More power isn't a substitute for incorrect gearing. With the revs 20% lower at any given road speed, even the torque of a G16 won't make it drive like it has stock tyres on it.

that looks sick the old engine had a few engine troubles (timing troubles guy b4 me put the wrong key in the crank and i broke an exhaust valve) im about 20 mins of work off getting it going
