I have a 1.6L coil pack Baleno engine, and a BenT adapter plate that has become surplus to my needs... Would you be interested? or do you only want a Vitara motor?

Cool, yeh i am interested. Only reason i would prefer a Vitara is because its an easier conversion (i assume after reading posts on this forum).
Im not a complete genious so would mainly be going off the article: http://www.auszookers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4853

What differences are their to installing the G16B baleno engine as opposed to the G16B Vitara engine?

The downsides to the Baleno are plumbing up some radiator hoses (because the standard ones suit front wheel drive), and having to mod the Sierra sump to accept the crank angle sensor. The advantage compared to the Vitara is they are a newer engine with coil pack, but mainly the intake manifold is lower and hence easier to clear the bonnet with. I haven't put one in a Sierra myself though, so may have missed something important (I was going to put this one in an LJ, but will instead be stripping the GV engine from my Sierra for the LJ). Anyway feel free to PM me after you have done some research if you want.
