I didnt mean cheap and dodgy, ill put dirty 30'S in and upgrade hub bolts, and brace the housing etc.
Just not going to worry about all the other stuff like the 6 shooter knuckles and that.

Okay sweet, I was just going to stick some axles in and brace the diff and drive it.
Was thing of thoes six shooter swivel hubs as well. But ill try the cheap way for the first build. Then grow on it.

Ever heard the expression....."The poor man pays twice"?

I'm not rolling in cash in fact I'm doing it pretty hard this last year but I have spent good $$$ on parts so that I won't have to buy the same stuff again.
In the long run you'll save money by not buying twice and save a lot of time & work replacing broken bits.

Nothing worse than towing hours to get to good driving then breaking some pissant part and having to go home early.

x2

Also if the diff centers are HP, they will not take after-market gears, because the are to thick. I had to swap my air lockers over into v6 centers when I changed to nitro 5.29s.

Sorry what i meant was that you cant fit the thicker gears in a HP center. My centers were from a bundy, the front was a HP 4.88 and it had the skinny gears which look to be about the same thickness as in red89s last pick. I wanted more strength so i changed housings to fit the thick gears in.
