fuel filter location on g1.6b ???

all,

would like to replace my fuel pump but having a bit of trouble finding

pretty silly i know its got to be there some where? :oops:

should be in front of the fuel tank on the RHS.

yeah, takes about 10 mins....that includes washing ur eyes out after getting fuel in them. so if your carefull, it could be done in half that. i open the filler cap to release the pressure instead of running the engine dead.

mitch, opening the cap won't remove the pressure in the fuel lines. that's why they suggest pulling the fuel pump fuse or the relay.

I'm confused.
Thread title asks about filter location but first post asks about pump location.

....worked for me, didnt release cap and had fuel coming out of the screw for a few minutes waiting for it to stop. i then released the cap and the flow stopped instantly!

works for me

thats cool.

FYI the pump is in the tank, with no access hole in the floor so it's a drop tank job to replace.
