I managed to get the drivers side sill ripped off while going up a clay hill when out wheeling today. It got bend way under the car and somehow got into the rear coil and got mangled. GU behind me radioed to say i had a log sticking out but no, it was my mangled sill!
Has anyone else ripped off their sills?
I probably wont replace it, might try make up some sliders....

my uncle used to eject his off all the time - if he landed the sill on a rock etc it'd blow the clips and fall off along with the rear flare bit as well. lol
he bought new clips once or twice then just gave up and left them off.
it'd be good if you could find some body coloured square plugs to fill the clip holes though.

Lol I have ripped both side sills off before and both front flares! Lots of sikaflex hold them on and have even got self tapping screws in front flares now! Fit rock sliders and lift kit get that car off the ground then your dramas will disapear. I am not to concerned with the looks of my jimny as just about every panel has a small dent or two, and it will be my sons first car as soon as he gets his L plates so the self tappers are doing the job they need to. Definitely not a show car lol!
