Ok Zookers so i have a family friend who has offered to airbrush (he is amazing at what he does) my Sierra. The car it'self is the 25th anniversary Sierra classic metallic blue. The best idea i can come up with is a sheriff badge on each of the front doors (2 door soft top). This is where you guys come in. feel very free to give me some ideas on what i should get and where on the car. A picture of what you think would look good would also be awesome so he can paint from something. Will post finished result in near future.

i don't have a picture, but you should get a big penis & testicles done on the bonnet surrounded by frangipanni's & flowing down the side onto the front guards, morphing into dragons & skulls on the doors & rear quarters, then on the back get him to do a landscape scene from the latest NASA mars landing.

Tears of laughter here at the moment , then I stopped and thought you might be serious about the Martian landscape scene.

obviously you guys know nothing about good artwork & design. with airbrushing cars it's essential to have something that dates the work done, so in 3-19 years time everyone knows when it was done, the penis, flowers & dragons could have been from the 70's, 80's or 90's... but the mars landscape will date the artwork just nicely, it's a bit like transformer badges or airbrushing the teenage mutant ninja turtles down the side of your ride otherwise it's a timeless bit of artwork that could have been done yesterday. buzbox, you should try living in my mind Lukezook i will be very disappointed if you don't lock in my design & if you do i would like you to credit me in the original airbrush artwork that you mate does.

touche tony, there is a lot of room to move up there... but i keep pushing out relevant info to remember such things as the longest word you can touch type using only the "left" side of the keyboard is stewardesses.

I find custom paint is best achieved with rocks and banks.

Oh god my stomach hurts i want something mostly basic. The Sheriff badge on each door is a good example. don't really want to to a massive big over car job.

I'm going to put airbrushing into the same category as naff personalised plates. It's never cooler than just before you've done it, and it just keeps getting un-cooler from that point on. Maybe I just don't get it. What's the angle of wanting sheriff badges on the doors? surely you could get them done in vinyl like they are on (actual) cop cars and then you could peel them off in about 6 months when you get sick of them? I assume you are looking for something like this? Whilst I'm not at all into airbrushing on cars, (so I might not be the right person to ask) I don't think a sheriff badge is a good application for airbrushing, as it normally has "soft" edges - it's better used for a photographic type of look, which isn't what sheriff door decals look like at all. Steve.

I was originaly going to get Gollum from LOTR on the Bonnet but changed my mine about it. Yeah the badge was probably a bad example. i want something that would look awesome airbrushed but not too try hard or out there.

Mr G, your idea of air brushing is throwing a can of paint at your car while the wind is blowing...

Another idea i had was Cookie monster or like a mutant cookie monster (like in the picture) because the car is blue and it has been called that before.

It was all the go in the 70's on the back of panel vans and utes Maybe you get some unicorns or dolphins on the side. Should pull the dudes. Maybe a tribal pattern up the doors, southern cross on the bonnet, Eureka stockade flag on the tailgate and the confederate flag on the doors. If he is good enough ( as in can do small) maybe get the cookie monster hybrid on the glovebox lid or on the corner of the bonnet. Its blue and he could do something like this Avatar theme

Would not doubt this haha. I think we're all losing track of what i am after here. Not trying to be a Lebanese guy in a skyline. Just need an idea for a small, mostly un-noticeable pin stripe or something.
