So, I've been looking around for a larger tank for my Vitara, and I've yet to find a readily available long range tank. However, there are many for Sierras. Are sierra tanks (long range types) able to be fitted into a vitara, without TOO much hassle? I'd be modifying the mounts anyway to raise it up a little.
Alternatively, are the LWB vit tanks larger than the SWB ones?
Cheers guys

Vit lwb efi tank is 55 litres - would be good to have about 75 litres.

I sold a GV tank to a guy once with a efi vitara . He said it would fit without to much hassle. Never heard back from him so i presume it must of fit.
The GV tank is 66L

My SWB tank is about 30L inc massive dents (tank is now contoured to rear bar LOL) so... hmm GV may fit aye.. might have to go over to the wreckers and have a measure!

hi mate
i was looking at getting a LR tank for me SWB Vit but then got a quote from Browndavis. "The 65 litre replacement tank for your Suzuki is $920 plus $264 to fit" so that pretty much answered my question. way to pricey.
good luck

I got a quote from longranger and they quoted $1300 fitted for a 105 litre (but that was for a LWB so probably smaller capacity for SWB) wayyyy too pricey!

I was told that the 1st of the V6 Vitaras (2ltr) had a 70ltr tank in them.... That may be an option....
