Well after 3 months of pain trying to get rims made for my. 99gv im told it cant be done
Went to summerfeild engerneering first rims made and powder coated then km2 fitted found they wouldnt clear the calipers damn we tried 4 more times still couldnt get it to clear
All. I want is a extra 25mm offset I had spaces clearance was spot on but had a vibration at 80 90 k I still think this is possible so if anyone knows where or who can do it let me know I have $1000 waiting for 5 rims

Thought about getting some 16 x 8 rims from overseas? Heaps of choice in that size with the suzuki stud pattern with a few offsets available. What is the std offeset, +11 or something isn't it?

I did try that but found no one could tell me whaat ofset I need some said its negitive others disagreed and said its positive I dont care what they look like I just want 25mm more offset

95% sure the standard rims are +11 mate, so ideally you'd be looking for 16x7 rims with -14 offset to give you the same width as the spacers. Most of the steel rims in that size/stud pattern are zero offset but you might get lucky.

What size tyres are you running, just the standard sort of width?

Had a quick look - closest I could find was some ION rims that were -8 offset

Actually looks like the std offset on GV rims may be less than I thought at only +5

I have on the car now 751 225/75/16

It scares me buying something im not 100% on clearing the calipers
Andys auto sport looks ok have emailed them see what they say

Its not the offset that will clear the calipers, its the style of centre. Any flat style center like sunraisier will not clear without spacers. Alloys are better than steel as they can cast a profile for the calipers.

Yeah true the rims I had made were perfect. On the rear we changed the hoops to clear the calipers but then the edge of the centres hit the caliper I cant belive how hard it is to get some rims the gv are a popular car

maybe fatzook could come up with a centre design that would clear the calipers, but then there is the legality side of custom road going wheels.

Why do you want an extra 25mm of width on each side? Wouldnt the tyres hit the top of the wheel arches when flexed up?

I run 245/75/16 tyres on mine with out issue on stock steel rims and its very close to touching.

mine rub on the chassis just reversing out of driveway
with the the spaces on it just rubs on the front of wheel arch bottom of bumper
and it sits in the tracks heaps better

well i think ive had sucess bsa wheels are making me a special batch of these for my gv -20 offset

will be running 225/70/16 km2 tyres
