i was wondering who has done a body lift on their sierra, what did you do with the carburetor boot to the air cleaner.
i just did a 2 inch body lift but the boot is kinking cuz the motor has dropped. does it affect the air flow at all?

Many make up spacers or find another hose to go from carby hat to air box.

Your motor hasn't dropped, you have lifted the body, hence the term body lift.

You will have to make one. AFAIK

go to Bunnings or a plumbing supply shop and look for a Vinidex female/female pipe connector that will fit over the carby, the connector is about 100mm long so cut it in half for a perfect 2 inch carby hat lift.

I used a 1.0 litre air cleaner, was much easier to fit with body lift.
