As it says I am still looking for an LJ50 bonnet in good or repairable condition – I have now finished rebuilding the engine and gearbox and am about to get into the body so am starting to panic.

Any one in Adelaide/ SA who can loan me a good LJ bonnet so I can take a mold off? I can then make fibreglass LJ bonnets till-the-cows-come-home for anyone, including tony. I can make payment for the loan in beer or cash + you get a free bonnet polish and wax.

How are you going to sort out the part where the bonnet latches hook up to.

There's an LJ at my local wreckers, It's been sitting there for a while now and is beyond restoration, the bonnet is a bit worse for wear but I'm sure someone like your skillfull self could possibly fix it, It's the only salvagable panel on the poor thing, I didn't get a photo but the main issue being that the Passanger side bonnet latch is a bit bent in and there are various rust holes along the front of it.
If your desperate I could buy it for you and you can arrange a courier to pick it up...
