Hard top Sierra with g16a and 30x9.5 mtr wranglers I ran 14 psi on road and 7 psi off. Never had a issue and it drove nicely.

I think I'd pick close to those pressures for that scenario. People have to realise the larger the tyre - the less air required!

If your steering is heavy with correct tyre pressures then either you need to grow some muscles or fix your worn front end!

I'm not advocating it at all. nor am I saying 20 is a bad idea.
It should be a consideration of a few things
Such as Tyre wear, comfort, fuel consumption & braking
There are more factors than just "comfort" when considering tyre pressure.

Suzuki's tyre placard says 20(ish?) for a reason. Because it is the best pressure for, tyre wear, comfort, fuel, braking and handling.

We're going to go off the tyre placard for running 30 inch tyres?
If we're going to be sticking to rules and regs let's not use the 30 inch tyres.
I tried my 31's at 20 psi and hated it sluggish and turning was a bitch in a car without p/s, wouldn't run them below 30. My personal preference.
Btw alot more fuel economic.
Try what you like and the decide

Yes, actually, we are going to go off the placard as a starting point for running 30" tyres, and most likely, you'll end up running lower than the placard, because the 30" tyre is stiffer.

Pumping your tyres up hard to make the steering lighter is interesting. Have a good think about it - the steering is getting lighter because there's less rubber in contact with the road. That means less traction, under all circumstances. If that wasn't true, then there'd be no reason to lower tyre pressure off road to improve traction.

Rolling resistance will be higher with a 10.5" tyre. Pumping your tyres up to negate that will result in poor ride and traction. Of course your car is sluggish - it's got 20% taller tyres on it than stock, which might weigh up to 40% more than the stock combination.

I run my 35" Krawlers at around 18 psi on road. I've run them at 15 psi on road. Couldn't tell much difference.

Started out with them a 26, which is what I ran my 9/34 swampers at, but they were terrible with that much air in them. Funny that.

I run 19.5psi on the drivers front tyre, 17.5 in the drivers rear, 19 in the passengers front and 17 in the passengers rear.

LOL JKs, 20 +/- 3-4 psi, you will never notice the difference anyway.

Bbzzzzzzz wrong.

Once tyre air has been run in it performes 30% more effectively at reducing stopping distances.
