Hey im getting an arb winch bullbar for my sierra.
Just wondering what size / brand winches are good?

i prefer rope over wire cable
i kept mine clean and it served me well, not sure what its like when in alot of contact with mud,

I got my 12,000lbs winch with rope for $370 off eBay. A little on the big side, but it works.

I pretty much only drive it in mud. And does anyone know if arb bars can only take a certain winch for mounting?

Runva have just released a promo on their EWX9500 winch on sale for $699. Excellent value for money, comes with rope and can ship Aus wide. Ill put up a link later to the actual winch specs.

ARB bars were designed to fit the M6000 and M8000 pound winches.

I have a premier 6000 pound winch, but i wish I had gone for atleast a 8000 pound winch with a quicker line pull speed.

im looking at the new design ironman winch, 9500lbs and comes with rope. 28 kgs for the 29 kgs for the 12000lbs. i know the 9500 is $899. or the runva looks good too.
