External alternator reg. Bridging???

Hi all.

I've started the G16b conversion on my 1.0ltr LWB and have hit a bit of a snag with the external reg. i've been told you have to bridge the plug some how but no one so far has actually done this themselves and i haven't been able to find a wiring diagram for my SJ410. Its a '84 steel dash with a switched transfer if that helps at all.

An input would be greatly appreciated.
