I just replaced the distributor o ring and the rocker cover gasket on my 91 sierra and now the car barely starts and can't go above 1500 revs. I haven't touched anything else what could be wrong?

well it was running perfectly before and I haven't moved anything

Did you mark everything for the same position when reinstalling the distributor? your probably a tooth out on the dizzy gear.

Yes thats what I didn't do now I get to try hand fix the timing. Thanks guys

Try turning dizzy 180 degrees

yes you have, you're a tooth on the dizzy out.

It will be mostly trial and error now to get it right.
