Hey guys,

I just picked up my 2010 Suzuki Jimny today and i want to get a 2'' lift but don't want to spend a bundle. My question is are there springs that are made for another car that would fit and be less costly than specialised jimny springs?

If there isn't what are you guys using out there?

Thoughts and past experience would be most appreciated.

using the normal front springs in the back will give you a 3 inch lift at the back

Yeah... I still want to do it properly i.e. springs and shocks. Will i need to install longer brake hoses after a 2 inch lift?

What sized tyres are you running? was originally thinking 235/75/15 but I'm now thinking it may stuff with the ratios too much...

215/75/15 is as big as you want to go with stock gearing. I agree with Kristov, Jimnybits service was pretty good. I also needed the extended brake lines for just a 40mm lift. It was the rear that was really tight for me.

yeh the rear gets ridiculously tight with any lift i currently run 225/75/15 the put ratio out a little bit but i wouldn't change and they fill the guards nicer than 215s
