just wondering if anyone has ever heard of oil leaking from the spedo cable behind the dash.
it drips about every 5 seconds when on the highway down into the footwell.
any ideas what could be causing this?

how can i check if the breather is blocked?
there is a cap over it like on the diffs would i need to bust this off?

you might as well go the whole hog- remove the cap, check the breather is clear- then fit remote breathers for your gearbox, transfer case, and diffs.

not a terribly difficult or pricey job- there is a post here somewhere showing how its done.

check the details on how its done, collect the bits you need- then all you need is a couple of hours spare time to do it.
