You said in the first post it was entry level..


No gears, not a great deal of chassis clearance, no chromos, no cage, dont imagine it has much travrl.
Theres so much it would need before it drives "almost any track".

Try eBay, Gumtree, rego it and put it on the highway.

IMO 12mth rego and $5k would open the market better for you.

5500 is fair, you buy a bog stock car, then do all the work, bu the parts and labour/time you're well over 5500.
