you reuse the stock bolts, they're fine to use otherwise the factory would run lock nuts instead of spring washers.

i was always told to spanner check yo shit, after you build it.

This you did. Pity you didn't warn me not to trust mechanics to do what their told.
End of the day, it's my fault.... Live and learn. Just thankful it wasn't worse :)
Did a bit of damage to the car.,.take photos tomorrow.

On a lighter note....took Tara for a drive at glasshouse today.
Kit works AWESOME!!!! Tyres dont scrub and flexs well. Bump stops are in order for sure though.
So much nicer/fun to drive.
Well worth the money

Good to hear, should join you at Glasshouse on day I brought a set of KM2's today so I can get out 4WDing again.

Definitely mate. Would be great to go out with another vitara again.
Cannot wait to get gears! My clutch is upset with me ATM.

What size treads did you go mate?

Nylocks are only any better the first couple of times they are done up, after that the 'nylon locking' layer flogs out anyway. Locktite can be a bit hit-and-miss, especially where vibration is involved.

As long as normal nuts are tightened properly they should be fine - yes it's a good idea to check suspension bolts (or any for that matter) after a few ks on any mod. Most of the main bolts should have spring washers, which keep them under tension and stay tight.
