For example: http://www.tradesolution.hk/e/ptxwebsto ... t/563.html US$380 plus US$65 postage to Aus, US$445 = AU$430ish. - Tim. cheers for the link, yeah i think ill just go for a single din and a empty slot, not in need of the gps and not sure how reliable a no brandname head unit would be. especially for $450

Double din Jimny fascias can be bought from these guys http://www.audioexpress.com.au for about $130. - Tim.

My missus has an '05 Jimny, and the factory CD player has ate a CD for the last time, she has her heart set on one of the screen setups, and as mentioned above, there now is a model on ebay that has the curved corners so it fits straight back in neat as a pin. However, I'm affraid it wont play australian DVD's, and it also states it won't charge an iPod when connected, leading me to think it wouldn't charge an iPhone through the cable either?? Sorry for the thread hi-jack, but we would like to get something in the near future. I'd also consider a good quality flip out single din if I could find a website that actually sells a fascia cover to cover the corners in..... Simon.

Interesting... I just bought one one of the Jimny fascia kits from audioexpress in Brisbane ( http://www.audioexpress.com.au). Despite their website advertising Kanatechs fascia kits the fascia I received was a genuine Suzuki part, 73821-76J00-5PK. I wonder if Suzuki could supply this in and what they would charge? - Tim.

I took that part number down to my local Suzuki dealer and showed them, and it wouldn't work. Even tried a superceed of the part number and still wouldn't pick it up. Perhaps it's a Genuine Japanese fascia that Australia parts fisch doesn't find/recognise? Either way, how did it fit up to an a/m screen mate? keen to see the end result, and did you buy the 'fitting kit' as well? I can't really see a need for that? Could you post a pic of your setup now with that fascia? Cheers, Superduki.

I took this number to suzuki and bought one. I called a few dealerships here in Brisbane. Cheapest quote was $86 but was on the other side of Brisbane. Ended up paying $103 from the Suzuki dealership down the road and only took them 3 1/2 hours to get it sent from the warehouse. So got it same day. I will make a Thread later on the change.
