As the topic says. Just after opinions on what diameter and wall thinkness of tube to use for a front bar? Might be starting one this weekend for my Sierra.

32nb Medium CHS seems to give the correct balance in looks for a Sierrra. OD is about 48mm.
This is what I have used for front bar and sliders.

From experience. The thicker the wall size the easier to bend without kinks.
Doesn't seem to make sense but that's the way it works.

can someone post up some pictures of the brackets for their bar or how they have mounted it to the chassis please?

I'm on my phone so a bit hard to link you but if you search for it on here there is an awesome method detailed with pictures from ball and shep, you won't beat their method so find it and do that.
