Pin and spring replacements also exist for some Spartans, too,
found them in my huntings.

i was looking on the jimny bits site, they have a lock right auto locker and set of replacement springs, should i buy them both at the same time???


if we going to have a comparo are we going to need commentry and useless info by a nob in a cruiser... sorry if i offend anyone lol

Spare pins at same time could save a future postage charge.
But it not a common breakage,
just wise to renew pins and springs once in a while.

I bought a lockright because of price. But also to compare to my old spartan

When I put my lockrite in, the only noise it made while bedding in was a light clicking, which has since gone. No noise at all now.

Just a reminder for everyone. Lockrights and Spartans wear out with use. My front lockright in my GV used to live in my sierra and its now rooted. It cant handle the power from the V6 as the teeth on the locker are worn and when it ratchets it makes horrible noises..... click click BANG... and it can be heard from people in the cars behind you......

Its lasted in the front of the Sierra and now the GV for 5 years. Not bad for $230 delivered.

Just to clarify, the broken cross pins were due to me using the standard GV grooved ones, the smooth vit ones are fine. The biggest issue was me fitting the locker in a non standard application, the standard manual gv 4.3 center, when I changed over to a vit carrier it went together fine.
