Hey everyone,

At the moment I've got a narrow track 1985 Suzuki sierra and for anyone who is unaware the seat belts are the un-retracting style. I recall when I had a 1992 WT sierra that the seat belts where the retractable ones. By any chance can you put retractable ones into the NT or should I say 1985 Sierra’s ?

Cheers, Ni

thanks for that info, did some searching and found your thread, however I have no opening there to put the retracting part :S

mine is a hard top, if that would make any difference. I've uploaded a photo of your one in comparison to mine haha

I wouldn't cut the panel as the mounts you need won't be there so ya won't be able to fit them anyway

I just dug around the wreckers and got a pair that just bolt straight on the outside of the pier - I can not remember which car they came from but there are quite a few like that.

This would require a mod plate.

So would the other swap he is proposing - The car came with fixed belts. Never seen a REGO check look at the type of seat belt only condition and check to see if retractable click in if you pull then sharply.
