Hi everyone how are you?

I just made a long trip in my suzuki vitara roughly around 900 kilometres 1 way.

I noticed when I check the oil dipstick b4 I left it was on full. when I checked it this morning I noticed it was barely even making a reading on the dipstick. luckily I brought 1 lutter of oil and filled it up with 800 mills.

is this too much oil consumption and is there something wrong? I still have to make the 900 kilometres track home.

Sounds excessive to me. Do you have any leaks?

What oil are you using?????

Cheap shit/ good stuff really good stuff????

Kms on motor???

I would just drive it and check it when I got home, but then again I used to drive my swift until the oil light came on and just stayed on then I would dump 4 litres in it and flog the bejebus out it for anther 8000kms til it came on again.

Just drive home dont stress and put some quality oil in it when you get home. High km motor I would put HPR 50 penrite in it. I have had many motor that burn oil and when I put the penrite in, the consumption would drop to 1 litre every 10000kms.

Must be a swift thing! I drive my GTi swift daily and flog the crapper out of it. Only once I hear the tappets getting noisy and the oil pressure light come on do I check the dipstick and add oil to the empty sump.
Now I just run diesel oil in the fucker

I have the same problem in mine, no leaks so it's burning it. Just keep topping it up on a regular basis :-)
Will get around to rebuilding it one day.

That's exactly how used to run my mh Barina, it was a 3 speed auto with a stuffed kick back cable, so it was like 3 speed manual with no clutch went hard until tappets got noisy then u would ge hp drop fill with deisel oil and it would go like a shower of shit again , it lived on 4,000 rpm and up lol, I miss that car I even went off road once next the highway rally mud sliding :)
