Does anyone know what the thread is on the standard coolant temp sensors? I believe its a pipe thread of some kind.

Thanks guys. I'll check the VDO catalogue but 1/8th sounds familiar. I just wanted to make sure it was small enough that I could drill it out and tap it to take an M12 threaded intake air temp sensor and coolant sensor.
