Hey champ I've done this on my frog it was orig an '83 SJ40 1ltr now has G13ba out of a Barina. You'll have to change the water pump neck to suit Sierra for your heated choke etc.. also swap inlet manifold, you will have to put an elec fuel pump on it as well cause the FWD engine would have run one of these and Sierra mech pump won't run in it's normal position on this motor, exhaust of course and a thermo fan will have to be fitted cause the Sierra fan won't fit back on the water pump as it has different hole spacings and you'll need to change engine mounts to 1.3 Sierra ones and make up the mounts on the chassis rails as well for these to bolt to you will also need to change your Radiator as the 1ltr one the top hose is on the wrong side just use a 1.3 ltr Sierra one. I think thats all? correct me if it isn,t Cheers Robb

Sorry mate just remembered that you'll have to change the cam over as well to the sierra one as well as the Dizzy! On the FWD it's straight out and has a different keyway to the 90 degree Dizzy set up that you'll need hope this helps? Cheers Robb.

The early FWD, G13a has a right angle dizzy like the sierra etc, not sure if its the same but that engine runs a mechanical fuel pump too. I learnt all that the hard way when we were building the race car, couldn't work out why the fuel pump wouldn't work until we took it apart and realised there's no lobe on the cam for it.
