Hi everyone,
I stumbled on these right angle distributor caps (please see attached picture) while doing some research for my GTI conversion. I was wondering if anyone had used them in their conversion or am I better going with an angle drive setup. I have read the good tech threads and the donor car is a mk3 GTI. Any feedback is much appreciated.
Regards
Ross

used them on a few conversations.. they work, plenty of threads on how-to set them up
angle drive won't work to my knowledge on a mk 2/3 gti

Thanks for the feedback Jonno. Its good to know it works. Apparently you can use the angle drives but have to use a modified vitara dizzy on it and it seems like a fair amount of work so I thought this might be the better option for me. How does it go with the clearance on the firewall with the conversions you have done Jonno?

it just clears, you need to trim the breather on a sj80
I still call the vitara dizzy mod a load of crap to sell them. I have had both dizzys appat and there nothing alike. however anything is doable with time and $$
