"Comfy" and "race" often aren't compatible.
Race seats place support ahead of comfort, and need to be carefully chosen for your body shape, just like shoes.
If you are referring to reclining seats with hektik shoulder support, you might want to adjust your ad. (But most people think gti seats are better than most cheaper "pretend" race seats). If you really want a race seat, as in a fixed back seat with harness provision and fia approval, you'll need to work out what seat fits you because the snugness of the fit is everything. This is from experience with oversized race seats- they suck in a 4wd.
Not trying to be a shit- just trying to ensure you get the right thing.

Maybe post a photo/model/brand of the sort of thing you're looking for?

Mate, you'll regret going from gti seats to autotechnica. The autotechnica seats feel like they're made from concrete, not the nice soft foam that the gti ones are made from. If I was closer, I'd happily swap just to get these shitty autotechnica's out of my sierra and to get back into a nice comfy gti seat.

I'd be surprised if the autotechnica "race seats" have MORE back support then the gti ones. Mine are super hard and actually not that comfy, and hard to sit up straight in!
