I dont have much experiance with narrow track 1.3ltr diffs
my question is, how will it handle a auto locker and 30" treps.. ?
should i just hold off on the locker till i fit wide track diffs and cromo's
im not that keen on changing cv's when i could be driving

My gearing is 3.9 diffs and 6.5 transfer.... so i have ample torque..

Cheers

Will handle it fine if you don't drive like a tard. Infact, being locked will be less strain on the driveline in the rough stuff as you can approach stuff slower and don't have shock loading of spinning wheels getting grip

Yeah, i tend to crawl... not into this hard and fast approach
Just a bit concerned about the amount of torque generated from my gearing and the high traction surfaces i choose to play on.

Are the cv's the same as wide track ones?

I ran NT 1.0 diffs with 1.3 axle/cv's in the front, for many years.
Never broke any more cv's than anyone else

Is there any difference between 1.0L and 1.3L rear axles?

They last pretty good if youre able to crawl and dont drive too hard.

Left foot braking made short work of my long side CV/axle

But being able to load up a chromo should the situation require is good.
