I'm seriously toying with the idea of turboing my H20A to get more HP from her. First thought's was to supercharge an extractor's, After reading in to this idea an pro's an con's of the two i'm liking the idea of a hair dryer, standard internal's, low boost mid size turbo.
I understand there's a bit more to it then what i'v got down but just wanting too know if any of you out there have done it,
Seem's to be next to nothing out the on the interweb, an thought that maybe some one from the land down under may have done this before an could help enlighten me.
Or anyone out there who know's these engine's well, would like to give there thought's an opinion on the matter.
For much the same cost and similar power, you could fit a H25A. You wouldn't be pioneering new territory and the engine would work safely within factory design limits. Fit front SQ625 brakes and you're done.
Either way (Turbo or H25A) you should be thinking about upgrading to the stronger gearbox fitted to the SQ625, as the SV620 box is derived from the original Vit box designed for a 1.6.
