Hi Guys, thanks for your help. I have an ongoing problem, leaking oil on my Vitara. The Valve cover bolts always loosen. Some to the point that they are just sitting in the bolt hole. I haven't overtightened them since i had the vehicle, but i am assuming someone previously has. Should i just use a small amount of loctite? Or does anyone have a better solution?
Thanks a lot;

something like a light/medium strength loctite would be fine, the blue stuff should do it.

the gasket might be shrinking - collapsing so they have no tension on them and start to unwind
If it leaks replace it anyway and see how you go, I seem to have to replace mine every 40000km

This has happened since Feb when i bought the car; i replaced the gasket then due to oil leaks for RWC but within the week they were loose and unwinding. The gasket still seems to be good, i have cleaned it all up, and will re seal it tomorrow, and hope for the best.
