im in need of some new rear shockies for my 2 inch lifted coily. can anyone recommend any that arent too exy im an apprentice. lol. this might be bad but im tempted by commodore shocks...whats the ride like for these?

coilys are completely different, you don't want that long in the rear your control arms will bend and fronts are different in coilys, pull yours out measure them and see what you can find the same length then you should not have any issues looked like you where getting plenty of flex anyways/

yeh more than enough flex for what i do but its really soft, go over a speed bump and it pretty much hits the bumpstops. and when you push down on the rear it moves along way and bounces so they are efffeed.

put there pedders and im keen to see what another brand is like. do you know if you can get rancho 5000 or 9000 for coilys. i know you can get them for lear but not sure if they will work in coilll. dammnn these coil things.

the pedders ones should be valved right, the ranchos and stuff are often to heavy. To find out if they are available in rancho or pro comp or whatever you would have to take them out measure them middle of the eye to middle of the other eye then go and find someone who stocks them and ask what lengths they have with what end types.

mine never drove any different without sway bar, was a little nicer to drive on corrugations and stuff which is handy

i know some guys down my way that are importing these shocks that are adjustable and you can order what ever length you want and then order the clevis or pin etc, im probably going to get a set for my lwb when the need arises.
