Up for sale is my Sierra comp truck.

Image
older photo

It is a very regretful sale but im eying off another comp truck and i can't keep both.

This Sierra is ready to compete. Turn the key and with a good driver you could win Willowglen or Toperi.

It is engineered in NSW for all the mods except for the turbo motor. The engineers covers the 37 inch tyres.

Competition History
Toperi - I placed 1st place overall in 2010 by a long shot. 2011 I placed equal 2nd. I also received numerous stage awards.
Willowglen - Ive placed 4th overall and numerous stage awards.

Magazine Coverage
Ive had 4wdaction do an article on the Sierra and it was on the front page of 4wdextreme magazine.

Engine
In 2011 the motor was completely overhauled with the following:
Block was machined and balanced
Brand new head
XR6 turbo injectors
Ceramic coated pistons
T28 turbo with custom exhaust manifold
3 inch dump pipe into 3 inch exhaust
PSC power steering pump with large reservior and aluminium heatsink cooler
Water to air intercooler setup with heat exchanger setup to rear of car
Engine management is through a Haltech E8 ECU
Dynoed and tuned by ESP Racing in Canberra. Very safe tune and rev limited to 5500rpm. Boost is at 12psi.
The motor runs well and has a bucket load of power.

Gearbox
3sp Auto. Had a high clearance crossmember and is cooled through the rear mount radiator. The auto leaks oil when left sitting. I havn't got around to fixing it yet. Drives well otherwise. The vacuum isnt hooked so it shifts hard.

Transfer
6:5:1 trailtough gears that were installed last year.
Has rear disconnect
Rocktoy ring

Diffs
60 series diffs with 4.88 gears
ARB lockers in good condition. Front was just overhauled.
Longfield axles with 80 series drive flanges.
Highsteer pitman arms with upgraded studs.

Wheels
37 inch comp spec trepadors in near new condition.
Rocktoy beadlocks on black steel rims.
Stainless allen key bolts.
2 inch wheel spacers

Suspension
All lower arms are 7075-T6 with 7/8 heim joints. All near new.
3 link front
A frame rear
Front has Radflo remote canister coilovers with eibach springs

Interior and other bits
Has bucket seats with harnesses
Rear mouted radiator
LED Light bar
Warn highmount with brand new 6hp motor and dyneema.
Spotlights across the front
2 x 700cc batteries

Here is a link to the buildup
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5583&start=60

Heaps of money spent on the motor and also good parts all around.
Heaps more stuff im probably forgetting about.

PM me for any further info or to discuss.

It will be sad.

I'm not even sure if I really want to sell it to be honest. If I dont get decent money for it im happy to keep it.

Mate if you 100% own it its costing you nothing to keep it. So store it and when things change (and they will) drive it again. Lots of love in that.
I'd be all over this like flies on shit if I was close.

Another comp truck is the cost. I can't have 2 of them.

Brisbane ain't that far mate. The guy who bought my last LWB came from brissy and drove it back.

I transferred rego from NSW to VIC before Canberramav bought it from me to take back to ACT.

Separation issues, me too. If I hadn't just bought a 40 series and the wife hadn't just bought a new horse I'd already be on the way up.

And all my other assorted Sierra parts

Looks as if the zook is sold.

Should be taking a deposit for it tomorrow.

It's heading back to Victoria so keep an eye out for it.

I still don't know if I'm ready to say goodbye to it.............its been a bloody good zook.

Time to get  and heaps of it.

I like the old C&D 40 series. In saying that I havn't had really good inspection of it and Im yet to negotiate a price.

I might just hold off until tough truck and see what else is on the market.

After tuff truck is when to have money ready.

Not everyone may want to rebuild their car to suit CCDA. Without that compliancy tthey go.cheap.

This zook is back up for sale if anyone is interested.

The owner is chasing $15 000 for it.

Im not sure of the current condition but it should be close to when I owned it. He never competed in it or anything.

If anyone is interested ill put you onto him.
