Hey guys,

yes i have tried to search :/

I saw a while back there was a thread that everyone was putting into and meauring there Zook lift hights ?

I was wondering if anyone know where it is and could chuck me a link

Reason i want to know, is ive parked next to so Stock zooks lately, and with 2" body/sus and 3 - 5" bigger tyres (1.5 - 2.5" taller then stock) it just doesnt seem that much higher then the other cars.

I know atari's swb was in it

is there anyway to properly measure how much springs lift your car? Other then taking every lift ive dont out/putting it back in? haha

yes.

search for posts by me that mention eyebrow heights, there will be a pdf attached to one of them & that will give you stock eyebrow heights for the vitara.

My springs were only 30mm i think, so it seems to have lifted more then it was ment to?

he has 2" body and sus to... so seems like my springs have sagged heaps.

you're 100mm over standard & i guess you mate can't measure or hasn't measured it the same

FYI 4" = 100mm

you'll have to be crafty to get springs out of calmini without proof that you're currently running their kit.

but my springs where only 30mm im pretty sure, so stock must be higher then stated in that PDF?
im gonna take a tape measure to the mall tomorrow and find a stock vit

so you've got even more lift than what's advertised, what's the problem

you've said yourself that you have got money to burn, just by the whole calmini kit & be done with it.

does your mates vitara have a ARB hanging off the front of it?

Calmini will sell their springs seperately, as will LROR. I mentioned that I was running their kit in the e-mail, but nothing says you couldn't do the same.

What are you going to do about all the little compensations that the full kit provides - longer/different control arms, heim joint, blah blah blah... not all of it is available off the shelf like diff-drops. Are your shocks and struts long enough to cope with the extra travel?

i don't know, just trying to work out how you've got more lift than him when it's apparently the same lift & set up.

do you have a ARB front bar?

have you even wheeled yours at all since being lifted? new springs will settle a bit after being worked for the first time.

what brand of springs, same part numbers?

I've got old man emu springs front and rear and old man emu shocks in the rear..
Bullbar is not installed. And a 2 inch bodylift installed. Have driven 30km since being installed

Ill check with LROR and Calmini and email them and see what they say haha

yeah thinking i might just buy the kit, and sell the stuff i already have/wont need eg: dif drops, strut spacers, king springs, calmini shocks
