Gday,

Trying to order some new wheel cylinders while at work. (no access to car else id check myself :( )

Going through Greg from awd products, he has asked me to confirm if i have bleed nipples on just the passenger side or both sides of the wheel cylinders.

Why would there be bleed nipples on only one wheel cylinder? how do you get the air out of the side with no bleed nipple?

Anyway, can anyone confirm if the 85 drover has bleed nipples on one side or on both sides?

simliar to this i suppose,

http://store.onlineautoparts.com.au/Ite ... J510%204x4

Where it asks to confirm if bleed nipples on both sides.

I think a drover will have bleeds on both sides, as per a swb NT. Most other sierras only have a bleed on one side. Brake fluid flows through the rh cylinder and then on to the left. Only the left side has a bleed.

Yes it does work.

ohh that makes perfect sense.

sounds like most sierras have the rear brakes in series (single bleed) where you are saying the drover might have them in parellel (double bleed)

hmmm sounds like i had better wait till i can properly identify mine.

Do you have one or two flexi lines from the chassis to the diff?
One line = one bleeder.
Two lines = two bleeders.
