Since i had to space out the King springs, and thinking will Insurance cover it incase of a crash, it notes as long as its Legal Modifcations they will Cover it.
So did some reasearch again and found this interesting, as remember reading it not long ago was not allowed, but now read this.

Vehicle ride height can be increased by any combination of the following methods:

relocating a leaf spring on the opposite of an axle to that of the vehicle manufacturer
spacer blocks mounted above or below the coils spring or mounted between the top of the suspension strut and vehicle body
wedges or blocks located between the coils.

Quote:

Raising vehicle height

The raising of a vehicle is not generally recommended due to the cornering and braking instability that may result.

Often vehicles are raised because the owner wants to fit large wheels and tyres that would otherwise contact the mudguards.

In these cases the wheels and tyres may themselves be unacceptable.

The body of a vehicle can be raised by up to 50 mm by fitting spacer blocks between the vehicle chassis and body at their mounting points.

The blocks must be manufactured from steel, aluminium, or metal. It is important to note that a total lift of more than 50 mm requires prior approval and a report from a chartered professional engineer Open in new window(PDF 104KB)

In some cases the steering shaft may have to be extended and longer brake hoses fitted.

If the original steering components are altered or replaced, prior approval will be required from Vehicle Standards.

A roadworthiness inspection will also be required.

The vehicle must not be raised by the use of extended or adjustable shackle plates.

Vehicle ride height can be increased by any combination of the following methods:

relocating a leaf spring on the opposite of an axle to that of the vehicle manufacturer "SPOA"
spacer blocks mounted above or below the coils spring or mounted between the top of the suspension strut and vehicle body "Have Thicker spring seat on top of coil and AMU Universal Spacer on bottom of coil"
wedges or blocks located between the coils "gather this will be like the Grayston Spring Assister which i have in middle of coil".

"Note: use of wheel spacers is still illegal, but still allows a offset no less than 13mm per wheel or a total track difference of 26mm. Tyre sizes increase still sucks at a max total diameter increase of 15mm, would like to know when SA will finally change this to the 50mm allowance to keep up with rest of aus."

Has anyone gone through engineering to get a certificate for larger tyres or any other mods over the standard limit in SA?
I gather once the 50mm tyre size increase comes out SA will still limit it to a 50MM TOTAL height increase which will suck as this will mean you can only do a 25mm suspension/body height increase and 25mm Tyre size increase, in most cases you will need to install raised springs to fit larger tyres and most raised springs are 35 or 45mm raised height, so well your still stuck with a 25 or 15mm tyre size increase limit.

Listing Engineers and what it costs / had to be done to get a suzuki certified would help others out too, looking at doing the same.

Can I fit spot lights to the roll bar on my 4WD?
No - the requirements in ADR13 state that driving lamps must be mounted at the front of the vehicle and fitted in such a way that the light emitted does not cause discomfort to the driver either directly or indirectly through the rear-view mirrors and/or other reflecting surfaces of the vehicle.

^^^
What about LED Bars?

i looked into it when i got stickered & i was given quotes of $2-2.5k to engineer the silver one & even then it could fail at any time & i'd be out of pocket. some of that cost was to hire either Adelaide International Raceway, Mallala or Goolwa airport to do the lane change & brake test.

$137 dollar's & a few weekends to clear the defect & restore it back to how it was, i can do that quite a few times & still be infront.

you'd have to be pretty unlucky or have a complete POS for insurance to deny a claim... have you seen some of the monster patrols & cruisers getting around, i can pretty much guarantee that non of those are engineered. all my mods are listed on my insurance policy just need to word it right.

FYI a LED bar IS a spot light.

Ouch that is expensive.

Well mine is at its 2" limit, but tyres is the sucky bit

Why cant they just take it to the flinders and doge a few kangaroos or sheep for the lane and brake test  done it lots of times without rolling the car.

My LED "spotties" are off the car with no home as the Winch control box stole its spot, thought of putting them on the basket, but will be a major pain in the but if i put them up there and next day get defected for lights that will only be used offroad.

i ran small roof lights front & for 6+ years in my roof basket, you'll be fine. maybe chop out the mesh section the size of the light bars so the blend in more rather than mounting them on top of the basket.
Image

it's more ridiculous set ups like this that's going to get you pinged & give them a reason to pull you over.
Image

when i got done, it was clipsal 500 weekend & they were having a mega DUI/defect blitz, got pull in, got out & told them that i knew why i got selected.

they didn't even bother listing the roof lights on the defect... i was done for too high & too wide & that was it, no mention of the momo fixed back race seat & all the other junk.

KK Cool, its interesting how some Jeeps can come in australia with Light Pods on the roof, and the O7 Hilux's and certain Jeeps / land rovers not passing the Moose test.

Cool I might be able to cut out some holes on my cheapy unity alloy basket, or wonder if i could get away with mounting them between the wind deflector and the beam running along the top of it, in each corner.

Ive never been pulled over for a defect as have none, trying to avoid it, but usually for stupid random things like Non reflective number plates.

I feel better now that spacers are legal.. only small 15mm ones but still can see them if look hard enough.

I think in SA its all about drawing attention to your self, your usually fine unless, Driving with fog/spotties on, Hooning, Driving with the radio up so loud your number plates are vibrating and the cars around you too, exhaust so loud the police cant hear there radios, or changing lanes and speeding like a lunatic. and if a cop car is behind you and all they can see is your diff and have to look up to see your number plate

opps, thought you had a mesh type basket. could always bolt a plate to the bottom flat edge & mount them forward off the basket

I think insurance is the biggest grey area in the whole of the automotive field.

Alot of insurance companies let you list mods which may be illegal, and their disclaimer is something like "if the illegal item is found to be the cause of the accident then your claim will be denied".

ie, i had a fibreglass bonnet on a car i had (which wasnt ADR approved), i was insured with it, but if it was found to be the cause of an accident then i wasnt covered.

Simliar with things like brake upgrades, suspension that isnt adr approved (pretty much all jap coilovers...), even aftermarket wheels etc.

Yeah read a few days ago Mags, steel wheels etc have to have a Offset number stamped on them and also Quality or ADR number, stopped me getting wheels in from Unity or global in taiwn but guess i could get them to stamp it on there and most wheels out there prob dont anyways including my factory wheels.

Insurance companies will wiggle themselfs out of any claim

EG a car pulls out in front of you and slams on the brakes, there insurance company will still say your at fault cause you hit them behind.
