As you can tell, im installing a new cd player this weekend, and i cant find a diagram for my vit, if any one has one or knows where i can get one that would be great. Also im putting two 6's in the doors, and was wondering what anyone did with the wiring, also wheres a good spot for 6x9's. Im thinking just above the wheal aches or maybee in the bac k door.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

power wise, from memory white with a black stripe is battery power, black with white is ignition power, but check that with a test light, earth will be black (tap into the outer wire on the ciggy lighter)

speaker wire wise, run the front ones through the holes already in the door jam and door, feel around youll fel the stickers over the holes, you also only have about 45mm depth so chose speakers carefuly

6x9 fit above the wheel arches with not much steel trimming, better to make up some thicker panels though, the spacing from side to side gives a useful boost at 80hz

Holy moly, what an effort that was, we had to run another power lead from the battery, then we had to run another earth, it took ages to sort it out. we blew about 5 fuzes every time i turned on the lights the power cut to the stero but now i sorted it out and im loving it

you had the earth on the radio wired up to the dash light wire

yea, it took a solid day to do too, towards the end i was getting pretty frustrated, soo happy to have it in now though
