Hey guys pretty simple one. There are two steel braces on either side of the engine bay going from the front clip to the inner guards.
Can I remove them??

Yes, but you will likely see stress cracks appear around the back of the headlight bucket and the radiator support panel over time.

but it would ruin the sierra's 5 star crash rating? =)

I'd say they're structural to stop the clip twisting... suzuki didnt do much bracing that wasnt necessary - infact they likely should have done a bit more.
